Hospital Pharmacist - Full Time
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacist for a hospital coverage assignment in the Daytona Beach, FL area. This role will support daily pharmacy operations, clinical review, and medication management in an inpatient setting.
Assignment Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Requirements
- Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing
- Inpatient hospital experience required
- Experience with EPIC preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication safety, clinical dosing, and regulatory compliance
Responsibilities
- Order verification and clinical review
- Medication dispensing and distribution
- Medication therapy monitoring, including drug interactions and dosing
- Pharmacokinetic dosing and clinical support
- Medication reconciliation and discharge counseling
- Collaboration with providers and healthcare staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with pharmacy regulations
