Hospital Pharmacist – Day Shift – $75-85/hr
Location: Bakersfield, CA
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacist for an 8-week contract opportunity with a leading acute care hospital in Bakersfield, CA.
Assignment Details
- Start: August 2026 (must be available to start by August 4)
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Schedule: Day Shift
- Hours: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- Compensation: $75-85/hr DOE
Requirements
- Active California Pharmacist License in good standing
- Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
- Epic experience within the last year required
- Cerner experience required
Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders
- Support inpatient pharmacy operations and clinical services
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff
- Ensure safe medication use and regulatory compliance
- Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation and records
