What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Specialty Manufacturing?
Job Description
We are looking for work cell specialists who can manage all of the responsibilities listed below. These activities can flow through the Cell at any point in time throughout the day. Specialty Mfg. Inc. considers all of the listed activities to be value adding activities and therefore of the utmost importance to us and our customers who rely on our services to be done in a professional and time sensitive manner.
Responsibilities
- Clearing the sorts listed below
- Metal Pans
- Standard packs
- Brackets
- Reservoirs
- 740k packaging
- Cardboard backup builds
- Plastic pans/trays
- Metal wired baskets
- Because there are a variety of services performed in the cell, they will be explained when they become relevant.
- Cleanliness
- Wooden skids, plastic skids, metal wire bins, metal pans, plastic lids and any other material that is disposed or there is excess of, should be placed in its respective place. These locations will be designated by signs hanging
- Work cell should be swept and cleaned at the end of each shift
- Cardboard is bailed and placed in its designated location

- Ensure Cell is cleared and organized every day
- Ensure Cell employees are on task and coordinated well
- Good communication skills
- Talk to Cell forklift operator to coordinate material through the Cell
- Improves cleanliness of the Cell
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Possibly carry up to 50 yards
**Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen**
Job Type: Full-time
