What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auditing and Compliance Analyst position at Specialty Manufacturing Firm?
Our client company, a large, multi-state manufacturer of specialty architectural products, is looking to hire an Auditing and Compliance Analyst for its Chattanooga-area office. The Analyst will be responsible for supporting the organization's compliance, audit, and financial reporting activities. This will be accomplished via working with external financial statements, ABL audits, preparing lender reporting and borrowing base calculations, working on recurring accounting analyses, and working on internal controls. Primary responsibilities include:
- Helping with planning, scheduling, and coordinating external financial statement audit work;
- Working on the monthly ABL borrowing case calculation and bank reporting package;
- Helping to develop and maintain financial policies, handbooks, and white papers;
- Working with ongoing technical research to ensure compliance with accounting standards;
- Working on recurring accounting calculations and preparing relatable journal entries;
- Assisting on documentation and testing of internal controls;
To be considered for an interview, candidates MUST HAVE:
- A 4 year degree in accounting or finance;
- 1 or more years of financial statement audit experience;
