What You’ll Do
- Set up, operate and optimize CNC mills and lathes to meet tight tolerances and production goals
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and part specifications
- Edit or create CNC programs, verify part conformity, and troubleshoot deviations
- Perform precision inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM references
- Log data and track production using shop floor systems
- Collaborate with team members and Quality Control to uphold process excellence
- Maintain equipment condition, cleanliness, and safe operating standards
What We’re Looking For:
CNC Machinist II:
- 3 years of CNC machining experience or equivalent technical training
- Proficient in setup, offsets, tool changes, and basic program edits
- Strong understanding of G/M codes, GD&T, and process optimization
- Demonstrated reliability and consistent attention to detail
- Experience operating and/or programming CNC machines utilizing pallet systems or automated pallet changers in a production environment
- Experience supporting repeatable, unattended, or semi-unattended machining is a plus
CNC Machinist III:
- 5 years of CNC machining experience or technical degree plus proven work history
- Mastery of advanced setups, multi-axis operation, and program optimization
- Capable of mentoring junior machinists and working independently
- Experience machining complex geometries and mission-critical components
- Experience operating and/or programming CNC machines utilizing pallet systems or automated pallet changers in a production environment
- Familiarity with multi-pallet workflows, fixture offsets, work coordinate management, and job sequencing to support reduced changeover and extended run times
- Experience supporting repeatable, unattended, or semi-unattended machining is a plus
