Job Summary
The Dive Shop Reservation Counter Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by managing reservations for dive trips, snorkel tours, and equipment rentals. This position assists guests with bookings, payments, and tour logistics while ensuring all required forms and safety information are completed accurately.
Join our dynamic team and help guests create unforgettable underwater experiences at Coral Reef Park Company. In this role, you’ll support dive shop operations, coordinate with instructors and captains, and ensure guests have a smooth, enjoyable experience from check-in through departure.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service & Reservations
- Greet and assist guests with dive, snorkel, and boat tour reservations in person, by phone, and online.
- Provide accurate details about dive packages, certification requirements, schedules, and pricing.
- Process payments, refunds, and reschedules in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure all waivers, medical forms, and liability releases are completed before guests participate in tours.
- Communicate clearly with guests about check-in times, boarding locations, and equipment needs.
Operations Support
- Coordinate with dive instructors, captains, and crew to confirm tour rosters and special requests.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and daily manifests.
- Assist with dive gear checkouts and returns, ensuring equipment is clean, functional, and properly stored.
- Monitor rental inventory and retail merchandise, restocking or notifying management as needed.
- Keep the dive shop counter and surrounding areas neat, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
