Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and driven Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our consolidated financial reporting across multiple practice entities.
What You’ll Do
- Month-End Close & Financial Integrity
- Lead and support month-end close processes across multiple entities
- Prepare and review complex journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Perform detailed variance analysis of income statements against budget and prior periods
- Provide insights to support business decision-making
- Research complex accounting topics (equity, debt, leases, etc.)
- Draft technical memos, policies, and position papers in accordance with US GAAP
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules, including dental equipment
- Support inventory tracking and reporting as needed
- Assist with external audits by preparing workpapers and providing documentation
- Support debt compliance activities
- Identify and implement process improvements, including automation opportunities
- Strengthen internal controls and enhance accounting workflows
- Support financial reporting to senior leadership
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred)
- Experience: 3 years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or multi-entity environment strongly preferred)
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Systems: Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct a plus)
- Certification: CPA (active or in progress) highly preferred
