Key Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat dental issues in pediatric patients, including infants, children, and adolescents
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs
• Perform routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, and sealants
• Educate children and their parents or guardians on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and child-friendly environment during all procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry and incorporate best practices into patient care
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid state dental license and certification in pediatric dentistry (if applicable)
• Proven experience working with children in a dental setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with young patients and their families
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with patience and professionalism
• Knowledge of current pediatric dental procedures, materials, and safety protocols
