Experience & Key Responsibilities:
- Assist orthodontist chairside during procedures, including adjustments, banding, and appliance placement
- Take and process orthodontic records such as impressions, photos, and digital scans
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control protocols
- Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations
- Monitor patient progress and support treatment flow to ensure efficient daily scheduling
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management
Requirements
- Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with children and families
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
