Specialty Consultants, the leading real estate recruiting firm, is helping our client, one of Greater Washington DC's most active real estate development firms, hire a Senior Associate. The position will combine direct asset management and portfolio-level strategy across its 5,000 unit multifamily platform of market-rate and affordable housing. This high-visibility role will impact both strategy and execution.
Responsibilities Include:
- Driving performance for assigned assets (budgeting, leasing strategy, cash flow, operations).
- Supporting Director of Asset Management with portfolio-wide analytics.
- Building and maintaining financial models, dashboards and completing strategic initiatives.
- Partnering across acquisitions, development, finance, and accounting.
- Interfacing with property managers, lenders, investors, and external partners.
- Presenting insights to leadership, investors, and partners.
- Overseeing compliance (including affordable housing / LIHTC where applicable).
- Leveraging AI technology to improve reporting, work flows, and asset monitoring.
Ideal candidates will have exposure to multifamily real estate and 4 years of experience in acquisitions, asset management, portfolio management, brokerage or valuations.
