Job Overview:
Specialty Construction Services LLC is seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our construction team. This role involves working on a variety of residential and commercial projects, including new builds, renovations, and exterior installations such as siding, roofing, and structural framing. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rough and finish carpentry for residential and commercial construction projects
- Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, walls, roofs, and floors
- Install windows, siding, and other exterior components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials with precision
- Collaborate with equipment operators and site crews on excavation and site work projects
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and building codes
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in construction or remodeling projects
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with residential and light commercial construction preferred
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
Pay: $22.50 - $25.30 per hour
