Come grow with us! · 1st Shift: Monday – Friday · Salary/Exempt Position Scope: Value Stream Leader is responsible for overseeing a specific end-to-end production process to ensure the efficient flow of materials and information. This role prioritizes the elimination of waste and continuous improvement of key performance indicators (KPIs) through lean manufacturing techniques. Responsibilities: · Operational Leadership: Manage daily production activities to meet targets for safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. · Continuous Improvement: Lead Gemba Walks, Behavioral Safety Observations, and Kaizen events to identify bottlenecks and implement lean methodologies such as 5S and One-Piece Flow. · Team Development: Coach and mentor direct reports, coordinate cross-training to build a flexible workforce, and manage employee 1 to 1 coaching. · Value Stream Mapping: Document the current state of processes, develop a vision of future state, and track progress toward achieving it. · Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Die Shop, and Supply Chain departments to resolve production issues and ensure compliance with quality management systems. · Evaluate resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime. · Work with Production Manager to create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels. · Responsible for yearly vacation scheduling of Hourly Employees. · Performs other duties or projects as assigned. · Lead and full accountability for flow, cost, and delivery of the value stream. Required Skills and Abilities: · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Basic Math Skills. · Highly Motivated. · Metrics/KPI Data Driven · Ability to lift 50 lbs. as required. · Ability to bend, stoop, walk, twist, lift, stand, push, and pull materials. · Strong time management and prior management skills. · Analytical and problem-solving skills. · Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office. Education and Experience: · High School Diploma · 2-5 Years Manufacturing Leadership role. · 5-10 Years of Manufacturing Experience.
