Description:Description of ResponsibilitiesThe driver is Responsible for packing and delivery of medications. Ensure timely delivery and issue resolution; support point of sale and medication delivery from pharmacy to patients, clinics, or infusion centers.Responsibilities of the General Manager include the following:1. Ensures accurate delivery to patients, clinics or infusion centers in a timely manner2. Ensures the integrity of medication that are prepared to shipping are not compromised during shipping by utilizing bubble packing, stuffing paper, or other methods to keep the highest integrity of the product3. Collects patient co-pay upon delivery4. Troubleshoots delivery issues that the patient, referral sources, or internal pharmacy teams may have and researching all possible resources to ensure that patient receives their package in a timely manner5. Maintains sufficient inventory level of shipping supplies6. Updates patient census7. Basic knowledge of pharmacy dispensing system8. Assists in answering phone calls9. Assists in POINT OF SALE10. Accountable to perform department tasks on a consistent basis11. Participate in the pharmacy's Performance Improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement Coordinator.12. Participate in in-service education programs provided by the pharmacy.13. Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities.14. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications1. High School graduate.2. Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills.3. Ability to work under close supervision.4. Training needs – as required for development and continued growth.5. Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.6. Computer skills that include proficiency with spreadsheets and use of the internet, as well as word processing, and efficient use of the internet and e-mail.Physical RequirementsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions in this job description:1.
