Medical Assistant - Full time
Join our fast-paced urgent care team in Texas, where we provide high-quality, compassionate care to our community. We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to support our providers and ensure excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist providers with patient exams, medical testing, and treatments.
- Perform phlebotomy, including blood draws and specimen collection.
- Administer injections, take vitals, and document medical histories.
- Conduct basic lab tests and assist with X-ray procedures (if certified).
- Provide pediatric care and support during exams and treatments.
- Float between different roles as needed to support clinic operations.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preffered.
- Experience in an urgent care setting preferred but not required.
- Pediatric experience required.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- X-ray certification preferred but not required.
- Phlebotomy experience and medical testing proficiency required.
- Flexibility to work as a float if needed.
