What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate - Lumber Manufacturing position at Specialty Building Products?
We are currently looking for an Experienced, 1st Shift Production Associate, to join our VALUES based organization for lumber mill production and manufacturing. Hours are M-F 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, OT as needed for production. Compensation range starting at $17/hr, based on experience.

In This Role You Will Focus On
- Reading, routing, and performing work as assigned by department supervisor.
- Operating saws, hand tools, and other equipment used in lumber mill manufacturing.
- Sew, cut, clip, hook or otherwise assembles the materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished product from raw materials.
- Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes
- Place finished goods on the designated pallet.
- Forklift experience and forklift certification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a in a manufacturing environment working on production equipment.
- Prior lumber experience desired. Engineered Lumber experience is preferred.
