Production Assembler - Carpentry

Reeb®, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a Production Assembler to join our team for the assembly of custom door units, including doubles, patios, cut-downs, with transoms and/or special hardware. Finish carpentry and woodworking experience required. 1st Shift, Monday - Friday. Mandatory OT as needed for production. Starting up to $20/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities

In this role you will focus on:

• Using kitted frame parts and prepped doors, assemble semi-custom single door units
• Prep material for assembly using exact measurements
• Operate several different saws to cut material
• Read work orders to assure accuracy of assembly
• Use power tools for special door prep
• Apply special hardware, such as Bommer hinges, spring pivot hinges, multi-point locks and panic hardware
  
  

Qualifications

• Ability with specialized carpentry tools
• Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic staple gun and other electric tools when necessary
• Must be able to read tape measure
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to read and understand English
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
