At Specialty Appliances, our Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing and evaluating complex financial and operational data by gathering and normalizing disparate data from various sources. The Financial Analyst will assist with the creation and completion of the budgets, forecasts, analysis, and pricing. This position reports to the Finance Manager and will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer.

In this role, you will…
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Analyze financial performance against budgets/forecasts and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Develop and maintain financial reports, delivering timely insights and recommendations to support decision-making
- Provide analysis of business performance and summarize complex financial data into actionable insights
- Prepare regular (daily, weekly, monthly) reports and presentations for senior leadership and the Board
- Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with operational leaders to develop and monitor KPIs that drive performance and ROI
- Conduct financial modeling and analysis for pricing, contract negotiations, and capital investments
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions and ensure strict confidentiality of company and patient information as defined by the company’s Confidentiality Agreement.
In this role, you will need to have…
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 2-4 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 in FP&A or similar/complementary role
- Strong software skills with ERP and FP&A systems, preferred
- Effective knowledge of Databases, SQL queries, and Data Analysis, preferred
- Advanced experience with Excel and modeling skills
- Effective data visualization skills in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, or Tableau
- Proven ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Independent and hands-on nature while being detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
- Professional, ethical, and proactive with a creative, solutions-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
