What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installer position at Specialty Appliance?
Job Summary
- Assists Lead Installer with install of household appliances, such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, etc.
General Accountabilities
- Assisting install of household appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, etc.
- Prepares appliances as directed by lead installer.
- Assists lead installer with job paperwork and input of electronic tracking data.
- Responsible for cleaning work space before departure of jobsite.
- Pulls Orders for the scheduled installs.
- Assists loading truck for daily installs and deliveries.
- Responsible for unloading and cleaning truck at the end of the work day.
- Respectful handling of the customer and customer information; directing customer questions to lead installer.
- Performs other related warehouse duties as assigned or requested by management.
- Responsible for warehouse organization.
Job Qualifications
- Technical training may be completed on-the-job.
- Driver’s license required.
- Customer services skills and an ability to present oneself in a professional manner as a representative of the company.
- Able to lift heavy objects, above 100 lbs.
- Physically capable of frequent bending and lifting.
