We're looking for an experienced, hardworking individual to join our team. The successful candidate does not need a background in logistics, but prior logistical experience is preferred. Individuals interested in this position should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, focused on attention to details, working with hazardous materials and should be able to work with others.
Job Overview
The Logistics Associate manages essential supply chain logistics by processing store, chemical, and hunting product orders. Operating fully on-site, you will utilize our website, ERP and EDI software to orchestrate order fulfillment, process packing slips, configure EDI labels, manage vendor routing guidelines, and maintain strict 49 CFR chemical transport compliance.
Work Schedule
* Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Days: Monday through Friday
* Location: Fully on-site
Job Responsibilities
* Order Processing: Key store and hunting product orders from our website directly into the ERP system, creating accurate pick tickets and packing slips.
* Documentation & Labeling: Process detailed packing slips and generate accurate labels matching retail partner compliance profiles using EDI software.
* Vendor Routing: Assign and schedule both hunting products and chemical orders into specific vendor routing portals according to strict dealer shipment guidelines.
* Compliance Management: Prepare specialized bills of lading and transport documentation adhering to strict hazardous materials safety regulations.
* Data Integrity: Verify chemical quantities, product SKUs, delivery addresses, and carrier tracking details to maintain 100% database accuracy.
* Logistics Communication: Connect daily with freight carriers, truck dispatchers, and warehouse personnel to track shipment routing timelines.
Job Requirements
* Experience: 1-5 years; familiarity with outdoor retail, hunting goods distribution, or supply chain integration is a plus.
* Certification: Active 49 CFR certification for safe hazardous materials transport is required, will train if not certified.
* Software: Basic familiarity using an ERP, Website (e-commerce backends) and fundamental EDI software platforms.
* Skills: Exceptional eye for detail, fast alphabetic/numeric typing, strong worth ethic, team-player and strong organizational skills.
