You will
- Follow all job, safety/environmental, and inspection instructions from cell work instructions and your CNC Trainer/Supervisor
- Set up machines and gages so production starts right the first time
- Operate CNC equipment and verify part conformance using gages
- Hit (or beat) production standards while maintaining company and customer quality requirements
- Make offset adjustments to hold tolerances
- Change inserts correctly, including understanding insert type and radius
- Use the tag procedure to identify and control parts
- Keep the area clean and safe: housekeeping, recycling, labeling, spill response, and environmental programs
- Comply with all Quality and Environmental system requirements
- Propose continuous improvement ideas in safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping (to your supervisor or HR box)
- Tackle other duties your supervisor assigns
You have
- Experience or trainability on CNC lathes, mills, and broaches
- Machine shop training (high school or beyond)
- Capability to perform offset adjustments
- Knowledge of insert types/radii and proper changeover
- Skill reading gages: plug, snap, flush pin, go/no‑go, calipers, etc.
