What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Driver [Food / Meat Processing] position at Specialized Staffing Solutions?
2 Shifts Available!
$18-$21
1st Shift: 5:30am Until Finish
2nd Shift: 3pm Until Finish
- Must be able to work in cold and loud environment.
- Must have experience with Class I-III powered equipment.
- Must have a flexible schedule, possibly work 8 hours Monday-Saturday.
- Move product throughout the plant.
- Restock materials as and when required.
- Pull, pack and stage orders in an accurate manner.
- Organize stocks inventories.
- Inspect goods for defects and damages and scrutinize defected products accordingly.
- Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning duties.
- Notify supervisors of problems that are not resolvable.
- Comply with food safety and quality assurance standards (GMP, HACCP, SSOP, SQF, etc.)
- Follow all Safety Guidelines.
- Keep work area clean.
- Responsible to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS
- 1 years relevant work experience.
- 1 forklift experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent planning, organizational, multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Maintain a positive work environment.
Salary : $18 - $21
