A leading independent tooling supplier in Macomb is seeking a Materials Planner to support inventory, materials, and day-to-day production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily inventory, materials, and production-related activities
- Review and maintain inventory and production data within the ERP system
- Assist with inventory accuracy, discrepancy resolution, and material tracking
- Support production scheduling and material flow activities
- Assist with reporting, documentation, production reporting support, and work instructions
- Work cross functionally with operations, production, inventory, and manufacturing teams
- Help identify and resolve inventory or materials-related issues impacting production
- Maintain organized and accurate records within the ERP system
Qualifications:
- Experience in inventory control and materials management
- ERP system experience required
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt and support multiple operational areas as needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with regular production floor interaction
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Experience with Excel and data tracking preferred
- Manufacturing or stamping experience is helpful but not required
Additional Details:
- Day shift schedule: 7:00am–4:00pm
- $30-$34 per hour based on experience and qualifications
