What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and month-end adjustments
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain and support general ledger accuracy and integrity
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
- Analyze financial results and identify trends or process improvement opportunities
- Assist with AP, AR, cash application, and transactional accounting functions
- Support external audits through documentation and schedule preparation
- Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems (Workday)
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Background
- Construction, telecom, engineering, infrastructure, or structured cabling industry experience
- Experience in multi-state or rapidly growing organizations
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and audit support
- CPA or CPA-track candidates are a plus
