We are seeking an Estimator to join a growing team focused on delivering complex construction and infrastructure projects. This individual will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, reviewing project documents, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and supporting the preconstruction process from bid invitation through project award.
The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following environments: data centers, telecommunications, low-voltage systems, structured cabling, security integration, electrical construction, or commercial construction.
Responsibilities
- Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and material calculations
- Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates
- Solicit, evaluate, and compare vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Prepare budgets, bid proposals, and project cost analysis
- Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities
- Coordinate with project managers, operations teams, engineers, and clients throughout the estimating process
- Participate in bid review meetings, scope clarification discussions, and project handoff
- Maintain estimating databases, historical cost information, and pricing resources
- Assist with change order pricing, project forecasting, and budget revisions as needed
- Track market trends, labor rates, and material costs to improve estimate accuracy and competitiveness
- Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting the project deadline
Preferred Experience
Experience with one or more of the following
- Data Center Construction

- Fiber Optic Networks
- Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection), Low Voltage Systems
- Electrical Construction
- Commercial Construction
- Mission Critical Facilities
Qualifications
- 3 years of estimating, preconstruction, project engineering, project management, or related construction experience
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Strong understanding of project costing, budgeting, and bid preparation
- Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Accubid, AutoCAD, or similar estimating software is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
