The Bim Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, coordination, and management of project models to ensure accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or trade school certification related to Architecture, Engineering, and Construction, or equivalent technical training or prior work experience int the building industry.
Required Skills
Knowledge of BIM standards and coordination practices, including model-based coordination, clash detection, and project team communication.
Technical understanding and working experience of BIM Level of Development standards, including LOD 300, with working knowledge through LOD 500.
Proficient in the use of Autodesk Software/Programs - at minimum ACC, FORMA, REVIT, NAVISWORKS, CIVIL 3D.
Knowledge of electrical systems with the ability to take conceptual sketches to constructable plans using REVIT.
Knowledge of Evolve.
Familiarity with Trimble layout point coordination, including creating, exporting, importing, verifying, and managing points between model and the jobsite.
General knowledge of NFPA 70 and ISO 19650
