This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubuque, IA, for an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist. The role involves implementing and managing workplace safety programs, ensuring compliance with health and environmental regulations, and conducting regular safety training sessions. The Specialist will also identify potential hazards, develop preventive measures, and collaborate with teams to promote a culture of health and safety throughout the organization.
- Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
- Strong knowledge and application of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and regulations
- Experience in Workplace Safety and implementing effective safety protocols
- Ability to develop, deliver, and manage Safety Training programs
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with federal and state safety and environmental regulation compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred
- Certifications such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or relevant safety credentials are a plus
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
