Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Civil/Municipal Engineer for a local engineering firm in Northeast Iowa. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of municipal and civil engineering projects from planning and design through construction.
The Civil Engineer will collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to deliver practical, high-quality engineering solutions while building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assist with project planning, design, and development for municipal and civil engineering projects
- Prepare construction plans, specifications, reports, and other project documentation
- Oversee construction projects to ensure work is completed according to project requirements
- Serve as a point of contact for clients and maintain strong working relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Maintain accurate project records while managing schedules and deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Municipal, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Experience in the civil engineering field preferred
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar design software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Goal-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain clear, accurate project records and documentation
