We’re hiring Lawn Mowing Foremen (Crew Leads) to lead mowing crews, maintain quality standards, and keep routes running efficiently.
This is a leadership role, not just a guy on a mower.
What This Role Is
As a Lawn Mowing Foreman, you are responsible for:
Leading a mowing crew day-to-day
Setting the pace, quality, and tone for the crew
Ensuring properties are completed to SPC standards
Representing the company professionally on customer properties
All new foremen are fast-tracked through our Leadership Training Program.
Responsibilities
Lead a residential mowing crew (mowing, trimming, blowing)
Ensure all properties meet quality and cleanup standards
Operate and oversee commercial-grade mowing equipment
Keep the crew on schedule and routes running efficiently
Communicate clearly with supervisors and operations
Train and coach crew members on proper techniques
Maintain trucks, trailers, and equipment
Work year-round (mowing season snow removal)
Schedule & Workload
40 hours per week
50–60 hours per week during peak mowing season
Early starts (typically 7:00am until route completion)
Saturdays as needed during peak periods
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Prior experience leading or running a mowing crew preferred
Strong work ethic and ability to lead by example
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs regularly
Valid South Dakota driver’s license with a clean driving record
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Able to navigate routes using GPS
Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Pay: $24–$32/hr depending on experience and performance
