Assistant Operator

Key Responsibilities: 

This includes tasks like loading and unloading materials, feeding materials into machines, and assisting with machine setup according to specifications. 

• Quality Control:

Monitoring machine output, inspecting products for defects, and ensuring they meet quality standards. 

• Material Handling:

Moving materials and products around the work area, using equipment like forklifts or hand trucks. 

• Routine Maintenance:

Helping with basic machine maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. 

• Troubleshooting:

Assisting the machine operator in identifying and resolving issues with the machinery. 

• Safety Compliance:

Adhering to all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment. 

• Documentation:

Recording production data, machine malfunctions, and maintenance activities. 

• Teamwork and Communication:

Collaborating with other team members, communicating effectively with supervisors, and participating in training and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude: Understanding basic mechanical concepts and the ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues. 
• Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks. 
• Physical stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift materials. 
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. 
• Teamwork and communication skills: Ability to work effectively with others and communicate clearly. 
• Safety awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety protocols. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bending, reaching, stretching, kneeling, and stooping.
• Lifting, Pulling, Pushing and Carrying up to 40lbs.
• Standing for up to 8 hours at a time.
