Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Irrigation Technician located in Simi Valley, CA. The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation systems that includes, valve repair and trouble shooting, mainline repairs, Controller trouble shooting, performing regular inspections, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the efficient operation of irrigation systems. Knowledge and understanding on how to operate various smart controllers, for example WeatherTrak, Rainbird, Hunter, Rainmaster etc... The role also involves collaborating with the landscape maintenance team and managing water usage to maintain healthy landscapes.
Qualifications
- 5 years Experience in Landscape Maintenance and Irrigation
- Strong Troubleshooting skills
- Effective Communication and Supervisory Skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Experience in the landscaping industry is a plus
- Relevant certifications or training in irrigation systems are beneficial
