Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 15 pounds of teaching materials (workbooks, materials needed for instruction). Must be able to ascend and descend stairs without assistance.

As a Summer School Teacher with Catapult Learning, you will:
- Differentiate Instruction : Customize and deliver lessons and use data to meet student needs.
- Engage Students : Foster ownership, critical thinking, and clear routines.
- Grow Professionally: Embrace training, coaching, and feedback.
- Track Progress: Maintain accurate student and academic records.

What we’ll need from you:
The Positive, Enthusiastic Teacher We Seek Has These Qualifications.
- At least one year of experience lead teaching students in one or more of the following grades: Kindergarten up to 8th grade with a preference for Kindergarten through 3rd grade experience.
- Bachelor’s of Education degree and/or teaching credential highly preferred but not required.
- Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
- Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
- Schedule:
- Teaching from June 8 through July 17, Monday through Friday from 2 PM – 4 PM or 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM excluding holidays on June 11, June 19, and July 3. Must be on the school site 30 minutes prior to starting instruction.
- Training prior to June 8 will be paid but teachers must be available to attend training in-person. Estimated 4-6 hours of training prior to the first day of instruction.
- Teacher must be able to attend and schedule an in-person fingerprinting appointment in Honolulu on a weekday in the month of May.
- Paid preparation time of up to 1.5 hours per instructional day.
