Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
Provide overall leadership and direction across regional programs to ensure high-quality instruction, consistent execution, and measurable student outcomes
Oversee academics, behavior supports, operations, enrollment, and leadership development across multiple sites
Special Education Leadership
Ensure full compliance with IDEA, TEA, and district-specific requirements
Oversee IEP implementation and instructional quality across programs
Guide staff and district partners on best practices, including specialized programming for students with autism spectrum disorder
DAEP Oversight
Lead and strengthen DAEP partnerships across the region
Monitor student progress, transitions, and program effectiveness
Support districts in enhancing alternative education strategies and interventions
Capacity Building and Coaching
Design and deliver training and coaching initiatives for educators and district partners
Support implementation of evidence-based academic and behavioral practices, including ASD-focused supports
Track and measure impact through student outcomes and program data
Operational Leadership
Drive regional performance across staffing, enrollment, and financial metrics
Ensure operational discipline and program sustainability
Identify and execute on strategic growth opportunities
District Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with superintendents and district leadership teams
Represent SESI in key meetings, forums, and statewide discussions
Serve as a trusted advisor on complex student needs and program design
Strategic Priorities
Align leadership, systems, and execution across all regional programs
Strengthen district partnerships and elevate SESI’s market presence
Ensure consistent compliance and program fidelity
Expand training and capacity-building initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile
Demonstrated leadership experience in Texas K to 12 education, with a focus on special education or alternative education
Experience designing or overseeing programming for students with autism spectrum disorder.
Strong knowledge of TEA regulations and compliance frameworks
Proven ability to lead multi-site or regional operations
Track record of building strong district relationships and influencing senior stakeholders
Experience launching, scaling, or improving education program
