We are searching for an individual to join our team as our Sr. Retail Finance Representative (Credit & Collections)!
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts and maintaining low DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
- Providing excellent and prompt customer service to both retail customers and internal teams in person, by phone, email or virtually in a courteous and professional manner.
- Interact with customers to resolve payment portal issues and outstanding invoices.
- Reconcile customer A/R accounts as needed.
- Collaborate with sales and senior management as necessary on troubled accounts.
- High volume of phone calls and emails and customer interfacing to collect on delinquencies.
- Assist in opening new doors for businesses including requesting and analyzing financial statements, recommending credit limits and follow up on collecting receivables in a timely way.
- Undergraduate Business degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections and/or credit field.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Strong customer support background and meticulous attention to details.
- Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively.
- Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and understand when to escalate potential issues. Ability to manage multiple tasks according to required deadlines. Flexibility to switch gears with little notice
- Maintain composure under high stress conditions
- Ability to be optimistic, positive and supportive in all interactions with others
- Proven follow up; not afraid to ask customers for payments.
- Analyzing financial statements.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Strong Excel and Word experience is a must. Oracle experience is preferred.
