Are you a seasoned bike mechanic with a keen eye for detail that would stand up to the highest level of scrutiny? How You’ll Make a Difference
As a member of the Specialized Service Course, you will be responsible for managing a fleet of demo bikes, employee repairs and builds, teaching mechanic skills to fellow Specialized employees, and supporting marketing requests. This role will additionally include the opportunity to fill in with our Racing department at events throughout the world. As well as the opportunity to interact with many other groups within Specialized including Quality, Retail, Rider Care, Product Management, Marketing, Sales and Specialized University.
What You Need To Win
First and foremost, the ability to work as a member of a team
High level of mechanical ability.
3-5 years’ experience servicing bicycles in a professional shop environment.
Experience with Bike Rental Manager huge plus.
Certifications from S-Tec, STU, Fox, UBI, USA Cycling etc. a plus.
Significant customer service experience, preferably in bicycle shops, or other service shop environments.
You should have an in-depth understanding of bicycle suspension and wheel products.
Organization and follow through are a must as are the ability to balance a fast tempo with incredible results.
Proficiency with computer programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Oracle and JIRA experience helpful.
Professional, technical, and personable communication skills both written and verbal are critical in working with media partners.
The location for this position is at our Morgan Hill, California office 5 days a week.
PAY
Below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations:
California (SF Bay Area) Base Pay Range: $21.53-35.52 per hour.
At Specialized, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and will depend on your work experience, skills, certification, and location.
