We are looking for a highly competent front Office Assistant with medical office experience to help with the organization and running of the daily operations of our practice. The ideal candidate will be friendly, outgoing hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and must be patient focused, professional, compassionate, caring, and team oriented.

Essential Responsibilities Include:
- This position is responsible for greeting patients and visitors to the practice.
- Registering patients.
- Scheduling follow up appointments and following doctor's treatment plan
- Making appointments within or outside the practice
- Scheduling outpatient imaging or lab tests
- Entering patient's history and creating the patient's electronic health record
- Answering telephones
- Entering patient's demographics
- Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
Skills
- 2 years medical office experience
- An ability to establish and maintain relationships with patients, providers, and staff.
- Knowledge of insurance claims processing and payments
- Ability to clearly communicate with patients, providers, co-workers, and the healthcare community,
- Reliable, punctual, and thorough
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
