Specialists in Dermatology is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our clinical team. Whether you're transitioning from another specialty, or an experienced provider, we want to hear from you. No prior dermatology experience is required - if you are motivated, coachable, and eager to learn, we will train you. You must have 3 years of NP/PA experience, even if it is in another field.

What you'll do:

As a member of our clinical team, you'll evaluate patients, develop diagnoses and treatment plans, and educate patients on their care. Day to day, this includes:

• Performing comprehensive skin evaluations and full-body skin exams
• Diagnosing and treating common dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and skin cancer
• Performing in-office procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, intralesional injections, and minor excisions
• Counseling patients on diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and follow-up care
• Documenting visits accurately and efficiently in our EMR
• Collaborating with our physicians, fellow APPs, medical assistants, and front-office team to deliver a great patient experience
• Maintaining compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic protocols

Our training program:

We've built a structured onboarding pathway specifically for providers who are new to dermatology. New hires can expect:

• One-on-one shadowing and case review with our dermatologists
• A graduated patient schedule that builds as your skills and confidence grow
• Hands-on procedural training (biopsies, injections, cryotherapy, excisions)
• Ongoing case discussions, mentorship, and continuing education support

You will not be thrown into the deep end. You'll be supported by experienced providers who genuinely enjoy teaching.

What we're looking for:

• Active state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Three years of experience as a NP/PA, does not have to be in dermatology
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• DEA registration
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, patients should feel heard and cared for
• Comfort with EMR documentation and a willingness to learn our systems
• Ability to work independently while collaborating well with the team
• A growth mindset and willingness to be coached

Dermatology experience is a plus but is not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
