Medical Assistant

Pay From: $24 Per Hour
MUST:
8 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Flexible to travel to DC locations for training for about 4 weeks
Comfortable working in various specialties depending on the day including plastic surgery, Urgo Gyn, Gyn, Colorectal Surgery and Endocrine Surgery
Rooming patients
Obtaining vitals
Handling Sterile Processing
Sending out specimens to the lab
Preparing instruments prior to procedures and setting up
Assisting with exams and procedures
Administering injections and EKG’s
MedConnect/IDX experience a plus
High School Diploma or GED
DUTIES:
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Perform clinical and administrative duties in an ambulatory setting
Handle sterile processing
Send out specimens to the lab
Prepare instruments prior to procedures
Provide support in various surgical specialties
Room patients
Obtain vitals and histories
Administer injections
Assist with exams and procedures
Document patient information and interactions in MedConnect
Salary : $24
