Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mold Maker located in Fraser, MI. The Mold Maker will be responsible for:
assembly
disassembly
benching / polishing
spotting
manifolds
timing actions
trouble shooting
maintaining and repairing molds
ensuring they meet required specifications.
The role also involves ensuring molds comply with quality standards, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and working closely with the design and engineering teams to improve production processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in machining, including operating Bridgeport mills, lathes, and grinders
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models
- Experience with mold maintenance, repair, and assembly
- Knowledge of various metals and materials used in tooling
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to meeting quality assurance standards
