We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in a medical facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or healthcare cleaning, understand infection control practices, and be committed to providing a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect all areas of the medical building including examination rooms, offices, lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Follow strict hygiene and infection control protocols in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Dust, mop, vacuum, and sweep floors; clean glass and mirrors.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste, including biohazardous materials, in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Refill supplies such as soap, hand sanitizer, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes and to quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in commercial or healthcare cleaning is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of cleaning safety procedures and use of cleaning products.
- Knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Lift up to 30 lbs and handle cleaning equipment.
- Comfortable wearing PPE (gloves, masks, gowns) as required.
Work Environment:
- Medical facility with strict cleanliness and safety protocols.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, bodily fluids (with appropriate PPE), and routine use of disinfectants.
Job Type: Part-time
Base Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
