We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Residential Shift Team Lead to oversee daily operations within our residential care settings. This role involves guiding caregiving staff, ensuring high-quality resident care, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for individuals with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a passion for helping others, and experience working with individuals with aggressive behaviors between the ages of 5-15 with disabilities. We are on 8 acres with farm animals and DSP's will be responsible for youth engagement. The RTC is a 24 hour facility operating 7 days a week. Only experienced candidates should apply.

Responsibilities

· Shift duties training for new staff.

· Attending all mandatory meetings and events. Specifically, the House meetings.

· Weekly check in with House Manager.

· Completing any pertinent paperwork associated with your position (ex. Incident reports).

· Making sure schedules are followed and Progress notes are completed for your shift.

· Communicate supply or maintenance needs or issues to House Manager or Facility Manager.

· Help to foster nurturing environment for youth and professional/respectful environment among staff.

· The responsibilities listed are a fluid construct and can change in many ways, so your responsibilities are including but not limited to what is listed above. We are very much a “pitch-in” type of organization and are growing exponentially which prevents us from only working within our job description.

· Foster a strong, cohesive team environment that builds confidence and strong morale among the staff and high staff retention.

Managing the safety of the youth while around the farm animals

Skills

• Ability to perform first aid and CPR; current certification preferred
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols and vital signs monitoring
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges

CPR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

1 year Team Lead, House Manager or Supervisor experience required

2 years’ experience with special needs children is a must

College credits a plus or working towards a degree in the related field (Special Education)

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
