What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Team Leader Trainee position at Special Occasions?
About Special Occasions
Special Occasions is an event rental company that delivers the goods that make events happen — tents, tables, chairs, staging, flooring, linens, and more. We serve everything from intimate backyard gatherings to large-scale corporate and social events across the region. If you have seen a well-set event, there's a good chance a team like ours made it possible.
We run hard, we take care of our people and equipment, and we take real pride in what goes out our doors and onto our clients' job sites. Our crew is the face of this company in the field, and we want to work with people who understand what that means.
The Role
The Team Leader Trainee position is for someone who wants to grow into field leadership — and has the work ethic to earn it. You will be on the short path to being a Team Leader working alongside our Crew Managers and crew on event installations, deliveries, and post event operations, learning how we operate, how we lead, and how we execute at a high level.
This is not a management title. It is a training ground. You will be given increasing responsibility as you demonstrate the skills, judgment, and character that we demand of our leads. If you come in ready to work hard, take feedback, and lead by example, there is a clear path for growth with our company.
