What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2026 Extended School Year Coordinator position at Special Needs Summer Program?
ESY Coordinator is responsible for working with the Special Education Coordinator/OOD Coordinator in fulfilling all aspects of the development and implementation of the 2026 ESY program.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :
Training Special Education Coordinator in the following:
Hiring and assigning staff
Student enrollment
Student transportation
Parent communication
Works collaboratively with the building-based administration prior to and during ESY
Onsite daily as the Special Education Administrator for ESY, for the duration of the program
Acts as conduit between parents and ESY teachers as appropriate
Supports behavioral and instructional needs as necessary
All other necessary facets of the development and implementation of the Extended School Year Program, as identified by the Director of Special Education.
Salary : $5,000 - $7,740
