As a Pediatric Home Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes. Your duties will include assessing patients' health needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients' health status- Develop individualized care plans based on patients' needs and medical history- Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families
Requirements:
- RN or LVN license in the state of Texas and active CPR/BLS Certification- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, with pediatric or home health experience preferred training is offered for new-graduate nurses.- Strong knowledge of pediatric diseases, conditions, and treatments Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patients' homes- Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
