Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machinery such as milling machines, and manual lathes.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and verbal specifications to ensure precise fabrication.
- Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and tooling to ensure optimal performance; troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Handle materials safely within the manufacturing environment, including materials handling and operation of forklifts when necessary.
- Assist in assembly line tasks related to fabrication, or finishing processes as needed.
Experience
- Proven factory or manufacturing experience working with CNC machinery in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machining processes such as CNC programming, and blueprint reading.
- Familiarity with various machine tools including CNC milling machines, manual lathes, and hand tools.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers accurately for quality assurance.
- Basic math skills for interpreting measurements and machine settings; understanding of GD&T principles is highly desirable.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
