What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Leader Elementary 8:1:1 (Internal Applicants Only) position at Special Education?
SULLIVAN BOCES RPEC TEAM LEADER
Will work collaboratively with school administrators, to assure student success. The team leader coordinates and facilitates team activities, and serves as a liaison to other teams.
Purpose:
- Team meetings provide the opportunity for Special Education and Alternative Education staff (teachers, related service personnel, paraprofessionals) to communicate student/program needs and devise strategies to meet these needs.
- To plan and support positive activities to promote positive school culture and climate.
Responsibilities of the team leader include:
- Develop an agenda for each meeting (with input from members) and submit to Administration via google drive in the team leader folder by 12:00 on the day of the meeting
- Record attendance on team minute form
- Complete minutes on team minute form via google document
- Submit team meeting minutes to administration by Monday at 9:00 am via google drive
- Attend Team Leader Council (TLC) meetings once a month as scheduled.
Stipend will be pro-rated for the remainder of the school year.
