"Direct Service Delivery:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments for students referred for services
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
Provide direct physical therapy services to students in individual and group settings
Document student progress and maintain accurate treatment records
Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaboration and Consultation:
Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other related service providers
Consult with classroom teachers on adaptive equipment, positioning, and environmental modifications
Provide training and support to educational staff on proper handling techniques and therapeutic activities
Professional Responsibilities:
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing special education services
Participate in IEP meetings, evaluation team meetings, and other required meetings
Complete required documentation in accordance with district policies and timelines
Stay current with best practices in pediatric physical therapy and school-based services"
