Employment Status: Non-Continuing Positions
Reports to: Summer School Administrator on site
Salary: Extra Services Rate of Pay per Collective Bargaining Agreement = $40.00 per hour
Elementary School Extended School Year located at Allen Creek as follows:
3 Positions (Pre-school and 2nd-6th grade) – Elementary Special Education Teacher = Up to 50 hours – July 14-July 30, 2026
July 14-July 30 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) 4.0 hours per day (8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.).
Monday, July 13th is classroom setup & organization up to 3.0 hours; and Friday, July 31st is classroom clean-up up to 3.0 hours as schedule by classroom teacher. Also, up to 8.0 hours as documented by teacher for pre-planning and progress report writing & documentation.
Middle/High School Extended School Year at Marysville-Pilchuck High School as follows:
1 Position (7th-10th and 11th/12th) – Middle/High School Special Education Teacher = Up to 59 hours – July 14-July 30, 2026
July 14-July 30 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) 5.0 hours per day (7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.).
Monday, July 13th is classroom setup & organization up to 3.0 hours; and Friday, July 31st is classroom clean-up up to 3.0 hours as schedule by classroom teacher. Also, up to 8.0 hours as documented by teacher for pre-planning and progress report writing & documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Teacher certificate with Special Education endorsement required
- Successful special education teaching experience required
- Must have already completed all district required training
Selection Process:
A district representative will notify selected applicant(s) of placement.
