What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ed Tech III - ASL position at Special Education?
LOCATION: Noble High School
MSAD 60 is looking for an Educational Technician who is fluent in American Sign Language to work with our hearing impaired students at Noble High School in a functional life skills classroom per Individualized Education Plans. The supervising teacher will create functional, behavioral, and academic plans for the Educational Technician to carry out throughout the day. Educational Technicians are expected to follow the designed plans as prescribed by the teacher.
Life Skills and basic academic skills activities include, but are not limited to, supporting students in:
Functional communication;
Collaborative vocational and classroom tasks;
Turn taking;
Activities of daily living; (laundry, cooking, cleanliness, et)
Reading Readiness skills;
Math Readiness Skills;
Basic keyboard skills,
Expected Socially Acceptable Behavior;
Making Connections.
Candidates are required to have Educational Technician III certification and know ASL
