MSAD 6 is seeking a dynamic School-Based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Special Education Consultant to join its instructional staff for the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate will provide data-driven guidance for special education teachers and programs as it relates to the implementation and documentation associated with behavior support plans and to provide support and professional learning to school site staff and parents/guardians in appropriate behavior intervention techniques.
Applicants for this position must have degree(s) required in major area of study; certification with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board or a Maine Department of Education professional certificate with an endorsement as a Special Education Consultant (#079); a valid Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC); demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues; and evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth.
