PRIMARY PURPOSE / FUNCTION:
Facilitate the efficient operation of the special education office and provide clerical services for the special education staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Proficient skills in typing, word processing, and file maintenance
Working knowledge of budget procedures
PEIMS knowledge preferred
Well organized and proficient in office procedures
Effective communication, and interpersonal skills
Patient and Calm demeanor with students, parents, and others
Experience:
Minimum of one to three years of secretarial experience preferably in a public education
environment.
Salary : $17 - $23
